I’m a child of the 90s and Journey is the only one on that list. Living on a Prayer should definitely be replacing one of those songs.

Maybe my definition is off but my criteria is, if I’m in a bar, will the whole bar start singing along when the song comes on. In this case, it’s will the suite people start singing along when the song comes on.

I like the songs on the original list, but I don't see the whole bar singing along to ocean avenue. I will sing along to it myself if it comes up on Pandora so there's that.

Sounds reasonable. Guess it depends on the age of the people there. I didn’t even know Ocean Avenue was that big, even though YC is my favorite band.

Despite my fear of sounding like a hipster, I first saw YC playing a show with Matchbook Romance in front of a crowd of no more than 100 people, so I always forget that they got pretty big at one point. 16 year old me thought the violinist doing a back flip off the amps/speakers was the coolest thing ever.
